JF Lennon Trading Bootcamp 5

JF Lennonâs Advanced Trading Bootcamp was held successfully from 20 -22 September 2012 at Bintan Lagoon Resort
Fifth Boot Camp in the running, 57 participants, all whom have attended earlier Boot Camps as well as both JWT and BPT courses, congregated for 3 days and 2 nights to take part on a great journey to gain further in-depth knowledge of FOREX trading under the tutelage of the CEO and Co-founder of JF Lennon, Jimmy Wong.
With streamlined training material, the Boot Camp went underway with Jimmy sharing on what he does best – Forex trading, touching on topics such as candlestick reading, controlling emotions as well as having a solid money management plan. Jimmy also shared new candlestick reading skills to the Boot Campers, not only on USDJPY but also on the worldâs most traded currency pair, EURUSD.
Boot Campers took everything in like a sponge, copying notes and practicing in groups to make sure that they are proficient in what they have learnt from the master himself. Back-testing after back-testing was done in groups and the results brought delight to the Boot Campers as figures show that the sharing greatly improved their trading results and they are even more excited for their trading endeavor.
One participant, Sui Sin, commented, âWe learnt more on Mr. Wongâs skill-set and sharpened our trading skills. We are more sure & confident on trading right now.â Another participant, Vicsland, mentioned, âVery happy with what was taught & getting more in-depth with what we have learnt from previous Bootcamp.â
After a day and a half filled with FOREX trading skills on their mind, Boot Campers then took on to the pool and had an afternoon filled with water sports and other recreational activities. This has created even tighter bond among the already close knitted Boot Camper community as they shared more stories and engaged in friendly sporting competition among one another.
Jerry Khng, the Top Trader from Boot Camp 2, attending Boot Camp for the 3rd time, shared his experience, âItâs really great to see fellow friends from the previous Boot Camp coming back together, and I get to meet new friends from other Boot Camp as well. Overall, this Boot Camp has been amazing. More importantly, the learning from Mr. Jimmy Wong has been mind-blowing, and as usual we always learn a lot from him during Boot Camp. Itâs definitely something not to be missed.â
The Boot Camp moved into the 2nd night and Boot Campers enjoyed a sumptuous dinner by the beach and the lesson continued thereafter with more learning from Jimmy into the late hours of the night. Jimmy continued to guide and lead the Boot Campers into further sharing and refinement of their trading skills and made sure that they left Boot Camp better equipped and more knowledgeable in each individualâs Forex trading skills.
Our Boot Campers are always fun loving people with the younger group breaking into the âgallop danceâ when the song âGangnam Styleâ was played over the sound system and the senior boot campers had a refreshing lesson about contemporary pop culture.
On the 3rd morning of the Boot Camp, the long-awaited moment of announcing the winners of the US Dollar Pool and Pips Pool as well as the crowning of the Top Traders of the Trading Competition arrived. For the US Dollar pool, it was won by Eric Lum,while Adeline Khoo took home the prize for the Pips Pool.
For the Bootcamp 5 TOP TRADER COMPETITION, Adeline Khoo once again took home the prize, whereas the Bootcamp 5 Core Traders Team TOP TRADER COMPETITION was won by Daniel Boon. Congratulations to all winners!
Boot Campers who have attended the advanced Boot Camp are privileged to be recognized as Core Traders Team, abbreviated as CTT. CTT members are the most dedicated group of traders in JF Lennon and they are under close mentorship of our CEO as well as JF Lennon.
Majority of existing CTT members attended the latest Boot Camp even though they have attended prior advanced Boot Camps and they have learnt more updates and especially on the EURUSD, but more importantly, they get greater emphasis from Jimmy on becoming a better and tougher trader in terms of skill set and psychology. JF Lennon also welcomes the newcomers to the CTT!
JF Lennon would like to thank everyone especially the Alumni Committee and all participating Traders in making this Trading Bootcamp 5 another success and we look forward for the next Boot Camp 6 in March 2013 !
