JF Lennon has once again created another milestone to be the 1st and Only Forex Institute to produce a feature movie – <> and held the Lensing Ceremony last Friday at the Singapore Cruise Centre, Harbourfront. Held on the terminal in between two cruise liners, it was a grand star-studded event with luxury cars, Lamborghini and the BMW M series, along with a strong turn out from the media, fans, supporters and also JF Lennon alumni!
Following the Lensing Ceremony, a press conference was held and that too created another precedent to be the first ever movie press conference held on a cruise liner in Singapore.
The movie features a strong cast from both local and overseas, namely Taiwanese heartthrob Chris Li Zhi Zheng and Taiwanese beauty Mico Zhang, resident hunk Yuan Shuai and veteran powerhouse celebrities – Sunny Pang, Zheng Ge Ping, Zhu Hou Ren, Xiang Yun, Pamelyn Chee, and Richard Low.
Of course, we at JF Lennon are very proud that the film also features our CEO & Co-Founder, Jimmy Wong, who will be cast as a Singapore Police Special Forces – S.T.A.R. ( Special Tactics And Rescue ) member and in preparation for the role, he lost 23 kilograms in 2 months!
Directing the film is well-acclaimed local director Randy Ang who mentioned that: “To shoot a police action film is not easy in Singapore. I know that many people did not dare to shoot this genre as there are endless clearances to get.”
Randy also mentioned that the police action genre has always been portrayed well by the Hong Kong film industry and recently followed by Taiwan, and he hopes to better or even beat these films in terms of box office sales and reception.
