Youth Entrepreneur Symposium (YES) organized by NEBO NTUC – For the 3rd occasion, Mr Jimmy Wong has been specially invited back to National University of Singapore (NUS) to share and inspire the younger generation with his entrepreneurship spirit.

YES event is brought together to bridge the gap between youth from 16 to 25 years old and the local successful entrepreneurs and business owners. It is an opportunity for the youths to be inspire and aspire to become an entrepreneur, exploring avenues of creativity to find the passion about entrepreneurship and to increase their chance of starting a successful business.

More than 500 youths from different Universities, Junior Colleges and other schools came together and attended this event as Mr Jimmy Wong shared enthusiastically. He shared his growing up stages as a rebellious and mischievous boy to his failures in his businesses to what he is today with his strong belief to take failures as learning curves. His journey was not easy but filled with lots of ups and downs; obstacles and challenges faced during his path of entrepreneurship were tough but Jimmy took them on and these only make him even stronger. “It’s not about how hard a punch you can punch, it’s about how much punch you take and keep moving forward” elaborated Jimmy on one of the important lessons he learnt from these challenges.

Ending the event with 5 important elements to succeed in entrepreneurship, the crowd was totally wowed and blown away with the significant amount of entrepreneurship values shared by Mr Jimmy and his ever charismatic character that never fail to encourage them and inspire them.
